I'm curious if people have a favorite place to bowl on the strip? I am looking for somewhere that dims the lights and has music or something of that nature. As has been suggested, the Rioacross the freeway on Flamingo Road, has the Lucky Strike lanes only 10 lanes of bowling, tho.
Had heard there was a good one in Rio Casino called Lucky strike but cannot find it on there site so thinking maybe its now closed?! I visited the Rio a few weeks ago. The bowling alley was closed.
Just like in Big, the Hardwood and Kingpin suites are the stuff of childhood fantasies; playrooms for adults. According to the hotel, the Hardwood Suite is the first and only hotel room to feature its own private, regulation size half basketball court. For those who want a courtside rest, the wall of the basketball court transforms into a bedroom with three fold-down beds.
Several Las Vegas hotels offer bowling alleys. If you strike out at the Las Vegas slots, turn your attention to bowling, where striking out is not a bad thing. Casinos on and off the Strip offer bowling alleys with Vegas-style amenities, and some have even hosted professional tournaments. You can bowl, grab a drink — even enjoy a meal — while hanging out with friends or family and relaxing after a long day of gambling.

Grab a table or dig in lane-side. Grab a half-rack of pork ribs, mashed potatoes and corn-on-the- cob to curb that post-bowling, pre-rocking hunger. Cool off on the lanes with pitchers of your favorite local brews, Margaritas and plenty of wine.

The lane, 90,square-foot bowling center, outfitted with a foot-long video screen, is already booked for dates insaid Ryan Growney, South Point general manager. After an April announcement, the facility went up fast because it was assembled using pre-fabricated building sections, kind of like an erector set, Growney said. The Preifert Pavillion, beneath the bowling alleys, held its first event in July and offers extra space to augment the adjacent South Point Arena and Equestrian Center.
